We Are Grateful

My Dad (Alvie) at the Vietnam Memorial

I would like to say thank you Dad for serving this great country of ours! My Dad was drafted into the Army and was sent to Vietnam. I am proud of your bravery and dedication to our freedom. But you know you are always my hero! My Grandfather (Pa Croft) served in World War II, he is no longer with us, but he is thought of on this day. We have so much to be thankful for. We should be most thankful that there are men and women that put their lives on the line everyday so we can enjoy this wonderful country we live in. Take a moment today to thank our Veterans! I LOVE YOU DAD!!!

Please tell your Dad "thank you". I love the pictures that you posted. I could've never imagined the magnitude of the "wall" before seeing it with my own eyes. I think it is something that every American should have to see to fully get the magnitude of the sacrifices that were made in just that one war alone. I love DC & can't wait to take my kiddos one day--when they can all walk very long distances :-)
